Regardless of a person’s past athletic experience or current level of fitness, everyone who first comes to FireTower CrossFit is provided with the opportunity to learn about basic techniques, terminology, pre-workout warm ups and exercises before participating in regular FireTower CrossFit classes. These are our On-Ramp classes. Taught by head trainer, Geoff Lane, these classes are for first-timers only and meet two times a week, for two consecutive weeks, at a cost of $80 and the remainder of months membership is free.
On-Ramp classes are kept to very small sizes to ensure one-on-one attention. As you work through the four consecutive sessions you and your fellow newcomers will learn about the correct form for basic, functional CrossFit movements, and slowly work up to increase your level of intensity. On-Ramp is the perfect place to ask questions and make some new friends before transitioning into our regular classes. If you are an experienced CrossFitter who would like to join FireTower CrossFit, great! We are thrilled to welcome you. Every member, regardless of fitness level, must participate on our On-Ramp classes. However, if you are already familiar with CrossFit methodologies and have trained in another certified location, you may be eligible for FireTower CrossFit’s Test-Out option. We offer a one-hour private session with one of our trainers to review your fitness level and knowledge of CrossFit movements. If you are able to demonstrate competency in CrossFit movements, you may wish to consider this Test-Out opportunity. The cost for the one-hour session is $80 per person.
