No! There are risk factors in every aspect of working out, even at your globo-gym. At FireTower CrossFit, it is our duty to teach you how to be safe. Yes, you can get hurt if you push too hard and don’t take care of yourself physically and nutritionally. We at FireTower CrossFit will scale you safely and according to your skill level. We will provide nutritional help, just ask!
Is CrossFit too hard for normal every day people?
No. One of the beauties of CrossFit is the ability to scale workouts – whether it is rep count, intensity, or movements. CrossFit is for everyone. That’s why the focus on constantly varied functional movements performed at a high intensity is so important. Whether you want it to be easier to carry groceries or go for a walk or run a marathon. FireTower CrossFit will help you get there!
Isn't CrossFit for people who are already fit?
Absolutely not! CrossFit is for any person who wants to make their life better. We provide appropriate and safe scaling options for everybody. We are NOT expecting you to walk through the doors and blow everybody out of the water. If you do, more power to you! In one CrossFit class you will find members who are stay at home Mom’s, a distance runner, a Grandmother, an attorney, a soldier, a policeman, a businesman. CrossFit is for everyone!
